Congrats To Morris Peterson | Hall of Fame Inductance

We want to say Congratulations to Morris Peterson who was inducted into the Michigan State University Hall of Fame. The NCAA Champion is best known for playing NBA Basketball. The 6' 7" 220lbs Shooting Guard / Small Forward was drafted first round in 2000. With his eleven years in the NBA he has played for the Toronto Raptors 2000 - 2007, New Orleans Hornets 2007 - 2010, and Oklahoma City Thunder 2010 - 2011. We salute this Flint Town native for his accomplishments and poised demeanor. Morris is involved in various charities and campaigns that help the unfortunate as he gives back to communities with a humble spirit.

Some of Morris's accolades are:

Career-high: March 31, 2006 Peterson scored a career-best 38 points vs. the Phoenix Suns
First-round draft choice (21st overall) byToronto in 2000.
Recorded his 800th career three-point field goal April 3, 2005 vs. the Detroit Pistons
Had a career-high 14 rebounds April 8, 2005.
Held the longest active streak of games played, with 371, ending in 2006.
Holds Raptors career records for games played (542) and 3-point field goals (801).

HILARIOUS! !

I don't remember where I swiped this comic from but it is funny to me. When I first saw it I started to giggle. I screenshot this and had it on my phone for a while. I just ran into it again and started giggling all over again. So I thought I would share it with you all.

Mateen Cleaves | 1 Goal 1 Passion

Mateen Cleaves is giving back to Michigan in a big way. He is putting on $1 basketball camps for young kids each year in multiple cities. We were honored to capture some images and footage of some of the camps that he has hosted. We did not request permission to show our professional images or footage so we will only show our mobile phone shots on this post.

Mateen has brought in major basketball stars to encourage and uplift the kids and have related the game of basketball to life lessons. Among the great names that has come to support kids are Draymont Green, Chris Webber, Morris Peterson, Charlie Bell, and the list goes on... Mateen is not profiting at all from his efforts as he takes his crew from city to city building kids out look on life and the game of basketball. Mateen also host Hope For The Holidays where he takes charge in giving out food to the less fortunate families across Michigan.

The former NCAA Champion who has played NBA basketball making a dramatic difference in the game is now a Fox Sports Analyst and he is truly worthy of the honor of "Role Model" and "Hero" to his home state. We thank you Mateen for all of your contributions to the great state of Michigan.
